Ok, now that I have your attention I really must discuss this with everyone!
Even though most of the networkers and contacts that I know do not "chase", "sale" or utilize "tricky" techniques to market with, I have seen this lately from a few new team members.
When I bring in new members, I love getting to know them, their needs and their goals. For many new members, they have already struggled with a previous opportunity, or even worse, one that failed all together!
MANY of the tactics that have been shown to more recent affiliates have been labled as Tacky or Black Hat because of HOW you are gaining a lead or customer. I wanted to talk about this because this IS NOT how many of us do business. We don't want our team doing business this way either!
So, as a Team Lead, I would encourage everyone to talk with your members - especially newer members and set aside training times. This way you can be sure to understand what they will be doing (usually) and they will get a better understanding of how Network Marketing for a home business really works.
Now that the mom in me is done - If you have ANY questions or experiences or suggestions regarding this topic - Please chime in!!! This is why our site is here, so that we can all learn, share and grow!
Much success to you and to your teams!
Linda

Increase Your Traffic!
We have had a few questions from other home business owners on generating traffic for free vs. paid sources.
Generating traffic is of course, your blood line to your business and we actually suggest you do some of both! Free traffic is normally sporatic at best, but paid traffic is usually much more consistant if you use a great program.
Here is one of the programs that we have used for a good long time to Email Millions - Click Here.
This program has several different ways to create traffic and only requires a "One Time" sign up fee which is VERY reasonable.
We urge everyone to take a look at what they provide and make your own decision if it fits YOUR needs!
Enjoy...

Foreclosure Prevention Tips
http://www.homeloanlearningcenter.com/Well, we had a few emails regarding the last blog on Getting Out of Debt post - specifically about forclosure prevention so I thought we would put in some more tips regarding this subject. If you find that you may be one of the thousands who are possibly facing foreclosure, make sure to get your questions answere by professionals (we are certainly not forclosure specialists)!
Tip 1. When facing forclosure, contact your mortgage company immediately! It may seem like the last thing to do but you would be wrong and hiding it from the loan holder just prolongs the issue. These businesses have jsut as much incentive as youdo since neither of you will benefit from foreclosure. A really good, non-profit organization is the Homeownership Preservation Foundation (http://www.995hope.com/). This is a group of certified professionals who can help with support and guidance.
Tip 2. Be prepared and ready to ask questions as well as answer questions honestly. Neither side benfits from incorrect information so put some pride to the side and give the information needed. Gather ALL bills and be honest about your circumstances if you have recently been laid off or going through a divorse.
Tip 3. Take a good long look at your financial health and spending habits. Going out to lunch every day with co-workers can add up to over $1,000.00 spent every year, or even more! That is money that you are taking out of your own pocket so make sure you look for those "little extra's" that you don't think anything of.
Tip 4. Keep an open mind when it comes to selling your home! I know this doesn't usually come to mind as an option, but it should. If you look at your situationa as a whole and you work with a program and still can't see keeping the house, perhaps selling it should be an option! This way you don't wreck your credit.
Tip 5. Talk to friends or family members that have gone through this to see who they worked with or find a reputable, online program. Call and speak to your local county, city and/or state agencies to see if they can provide assistance - you might be surprised to find some great information! Ask you church group or pastor if they can help as well. Most religous groups and organizations have put together small commitees of members that can provide information when needed.
Remember that when you do call your mortgage holder, you are speaking to another person and it is also in their best interest that you not forclose on your property. They want to see if the issue was because of circumstances beyond your control and if you have some type of plan in mind to get back on track. Working together will usually work out. Keep an open mind!

Top New Year Resolutions!
Ok - I had a request to go over some of the top New Year Resolutions that we have either seen online or that people have been talking about. Every year you typically will find the usualls; stop smoking, weight loss, get fit, etc.... We picked a few to talk about today and to give you some resources so you can get more info.
1. Getting an Education: Obama's Education Stimulus Package was implemented to encourage (mostly moms) to go back to school so they could either finish a degree, or earn one to better their job status. As with other government programs, most of the people that I have discussed this with stated that they didn't qualify or that the process was taking a long time to get done. Although I would love to see more programs of this nature to help out our citizens, most will never see that help.
What we would recommend is to do some research into multiple schools that can offer you what you need as far as the courses and costs. Now, you can either go to individual sites that you are already aware of or you can compare several schools with an online service. With a service you find the degree programs you want in locations close to home with available scholarships. These types of sites also offer great ideas on tips for the application process, studying skills and so on. Several also offer their own blogs so you can connect with other students to ask questions and get help. Find the help you need for getting back into school with the help of a great online resource such as ScholarshipLink.
2. Getting Out of Debt: This is perhaps one of the the biggest topics right now. Most of us have felt the sting over the course of the last year or so that we never expected to see! Even people that have done "everything by the book" through their adult lives have lost funds or know someone else who has. The New Year is always a time to reflect and try to start fresh for the next year. If you are one who is falling behind in payments, racked up too much debt over the holidays or even looking at the possibility of loosing your home - take a breath and then look at your options! Panic never helps any situation, and this is no different.
These situations are always tricky because getting the wrong advice can really be bad, but not doing anything can sometimes be worse. Talk to your creditors and let them know what is going on. Creditors would rather work with people than to see them go through a bankruptcy because they loose out even more. Call every single one and let them know you need help before it effects your credit. You can also look for debt relief programs online to find the best program for your needs. BE CAREFUL not to "borrow" money to pay off existing bills as many of these advance programs carry a hefty percentage rate! You might wind up paying more than you would have if you had just called the creditor first.
I hope these short articles were of some help and we will be adding more and more information to the site as we go along on on these subjects, as well as others!

Business Plug
OK - Just being honest here!
Being that this IS a business blog, I will be adding some plugs for what we actually promote. Of course, we will also try very hard to provide some good information along with some of the affiliate products that we work with. Each topic should have an article along with it so it isn't just a static site!
I am going to list the 2 major sites that we promote today:
DealsMall is a site where you can find giveaways, downloads, coupons and comparison shopping for all kinds of products. You can even compare insurance company quotes,
business opportunities an "As Seen On TV" products. It has a little of everything!
PriceSlip is a brand new, reverse auction site. By this we mean each time that a product has a bid placed, the price actually goes DOWN! Auction sites such as eBay and others are great at getting feverish bidders to increase the auction price. In the end, the seller is really the only one who benefits from this - not with PriceSlip! Bid DOWN the price on fantastic, brand-name products and save yourself some cash.
Ok - that's the plug. Nothing too fancy or too long. We will be adding some articles regarding some of our products soon so please save us as a favorite!
Thanks to everyone!

Hello 2010!
Hello everyone and welcome to my Blog - I would like to wish you a happy New Year!
Well, this is a new beginning in more ways than one. The 2010 has already started and I am venturing into the blogging world.... All of my friends, family and online buddies have been pushing me to get in here and start sharing my information so I have finally put some time away to do just that!
The past few years has been a continous climb but a rewarding one as well. As an online affiliate marketer, business means always finding new ways to reach people to provide services, products or their own ways to make a little money. I have met and become friends with some fantastic people and we look forward to reaching out to helping out our online community, as well as our local programs.
My great joy as a work from home business professional has been the ability to help my children's schools as well as local community programs - we raised money to bring our local troops home for Christmas to everyone's surprise this year which meant a great deal to us. As a sister of a Marine, I know how important it is to be able to contact family and get home when you can. You can find the story HERE! Don't miss it.
The next Posts that I will be adding will be in regards to "business" products, services and/or opportunities. I will occasionally add in some personal notes and will also look forward to seeing other people post comments. The idea is to reach out and help others and look for advice or constructive critism's as well.
Remember My Little Quote: Keep striving for your future - You never know when it will show up!

About Me
Born and raised within a military family gave me a deep desire to help those around me. So I have done this most of my life. Whether a friend, co-worker or other family member was in need didn't really matter. This didn't change when I started looking for a home based business situation that would fit my needs. I wanted to find something that would benefit myself but it also needed to benefit others and provide a need.
Now, our children are growing up with the same sense of family, friends and community. Having a strong desire to help others drives our family to do the best for ourselves so that we can assist in ways that other families might not be able to.
Even if you visit this Blog and never seek out to buy anything from one of my affiliate sites, I want to encourage you to find the right thing in life that makes YOU happy! Keep learning, keep pushing forward and never let anyone tell you that you aren't worth trying. If I had listened, then I wouldn't be here right now sharing.
